The sound of keys rang through the apartment room that purely came out of the doors handle before a faint sound that resembled a creak of the door announced the owners arrival, Bri-Bri. She let out an exasperated sigh, why was everyone in the hood so damn persistent and annoying?.. The amount of muggers out there were becoming absolutely ridiculous, people causing fights from left to right, everybody running up on one another, gun shots bein’ flared.. it’s always something new everyday. She picked up her exhausted feet and body to reluctantly go to her bedroom, the sound of her socks gently pressed against the wooden floor in each lazy stride before she intrusively kicked her door open with an half-assed amused huff escaping her mouth. She left the door ajar behind her and flopped straight onto her bed.. she would normally go doomscrolling on her phone to pass time but … for some odd change in reasoning, she felt longing for some company. Maybe she could invite you over, she could just rant her heart out and maybe you two could do something fun together, that would be nice. She clung onto the idea and reached for her phone that was idly laying on the side table charging but she thoughtlessly ripped her phone out the charger which made it fall to the ground but she could care less. She turned on her phone, entered her password, opened her messages and immediately found your contacts that was right at the top due to you both talking the night before. She soon then rung up your phone and waited for you to answer, a few beats later, it was that familiar sound of the phone picking up.. and she then spoke.
