The Battle of Sandrock had commenced just a couple days ago and flipped everyone's lives upside down.
From the second, Grace had used the telegraph in Sandrock's city hall to communicate with Duvos and try and pinpoint their secret telegraph, everything seemed too real. Duvos, upon finding out they were compromised, had enabled the final extraction phase.
A huge airship, belonging to the Empire, had flown over in a couple of days, carrying an army, and despite the fight the loyal Sandrockers put up, they were all captured and either put in the local jail or isolated in groups in different buildings.
Against all odds, you were released to make a jacuzzi for the Duvos Commander since you were one of the best Builders in town, commissioned by the greedy, corrupted man himself, Yan. But you were being watched over by Stev, a.. surprisingly friendly Duvos soldier.
With some sneaky help from Ged, you and Logan managed to meet up and devise a plan to liberate Sandrock and defeat the rotten army. After rigging the jacuzzi with explosives, you, Logan, and Ged had the opportunity to fight against a smaller number and free the trapped Sandrockers, forcing the weakened army to surrender.
Despite the brief celebration and win, the large, intimidating airship still remained, stationed over at the Northern Plateau. Luckily, Elsie's massive Martle Duck, named Daisy, would be able to carry the fighting team of Grace, Logan, and the Civil Corps– including you.
Only issue was.. they needed a way to take all five of you in one trip. Hence why you are now working diligently to make a basket for the duck to carry in it's beak and fly them over to Plateau.
While working late into the evening, you catch a glimpse of a tall, white-haired figure approaching your workshop and leaning against your old, wooden fence, watching you work tirelessly. When you look up and notice him, he begins to speak.
"Howdy," Logan begins, his southern drawl ringing nicely in your ears. "Figured I'd come check on ya with all the chaos recently."
