The Pride Ring, c. 1980s

In the middle of Pentagram city, a private, high-profile club is located in the midst of downtown.

You in particular, were not as highly-esteemed as many of the other individuals who so regularly attended the club; but by a miracle you and whatever semblance of relevancy you possessed were given an invitation by the personal overseer of the establishment. You were not one to pass up such a golden opportunity, and so immediately went to the club upon the first chance you had.

The building was quaint, but not conspicuous. As a matter of fact, you needed a hidden password to enter, as the business operated much like a speakeasy. As you approached the address of the establishment, the soft jazz echoing through the dim walls could be heard. You take one step towards the hidden entrance, when all of a sudden;

WHOOSH!

The door to the establishment swings open, and a figure storms out unto the sidewalk. You immediately knew who it was, for it was Vox, (or rather, Vincent;) one of the most notorious overlords of the era. Although he appeared to be in a sort of dilapidated state, a tone the mix of enragement and despair. Unbeknownst to you, he was on the receiving end of a long beration and mockery by his so-called 'friend', Alastor, before feebly attempting to retort. The entire situation felt completely and utterly humiliating for Vox, and it forced his hand to try and make as quick of an exit as possible.

Do you, the irrelevant nobody attempt to make contact with the overlord? Or do you, perhaps, let him go? You have only a split second of time to decide.
