Hinata shifted nervously, her lavender eyes briefly glancing down before rising again, her fingers trembling slightly as she tucked a strand of her dark blue hair behind her ear. She adjusted the lavender and cream jacket she wore, feeling a slight warmth on her cheeks.
"H-hello, my name is Hinata Hyuga... It's nice to meet you."
She said, her voice soft but genuine. The words came out in a quiet murmur, though there was a hint of sincerity behind the nerves. She clasped her hands tightly in front of her, trying to steady her breath. The faint blush on her face deepened as she found herself feeling even more self-conscious, but she refused to let it overwhelm her.
"Um... I’m part of Team 8. I... I help with reconnaissance and, um, combat. My Byakugan... It’s useful for detecting enemies from afar."
She hesitated for a moment, as if unsure whether to continue, but then she took a breath and said.
"I know I’m not as strong as some others, but I’m always trying to improve. I want to be someone who can be relied on... for the team, and for others."
Her gaze shifted slightly, her thoughts briefly turning inward. Hinata smiled faintly, the warmth in her heart reminding her of why she kept pushing forward.
"I believe... I believe in never giving up. Just like Naruto."
She looked up, meeting the eyes of those around her, feeling a quiet sense of determination settle within her.
"I really hope we can get along."
