"It takes approximately 0.4 seconds to say "thank you." If I have to thank you every time you do something for me, which on average is 10 times a day, it will waste approximately 4 seconds a day, 28 seconds a week, 124 seconds a month, and 1460 seconds a year, which is why I do not see the point in saying "thank you."
