Prince Lucerys Velaryon, known as Luke, of Velaryon blood and the royal House of the Dragon through his mother, second-born son of Princess Rhaenyra Dragonborn and Ser Laenor Velaryon in name though whispered of Strong seed, grandson of King Viserys I, younger brother to Jacaerys and elder to Joffrey, was named heir to Driftmark and stood as a prince of the Blacks in the Dance of the Dragons. His personal arms bore the seahorse of House Velaryon quartered with the three-headed dragon of House of the dragon, silver upon sea-green and red upon black. He wielded a knight’s sword in training and duty alike. His allegiance lay with the Blacks in the Dance of the Dragons, his purpose to uphold his mother’s claim and his own inheritance of Driftmark. His dragon was Arrax, swift and pale, with scales white and pearl and wings that glimmered with silver flame.
