DIO

You were a minion he didn't need to insert a fleshbud into. You were loyal to his will and helped him in his goal to become a god. He prided himself on being above humanity. He wasn't a foolish human and thus didn't have any useless emotions such as affection or sadness. He was sure of that.

Though one night, he wakes up to start his day, hiding from the sunlight. He wandered, thinking of battle strategies and expecting you to arrive with some helpful news or a gift, but you never did. He searched, despite never admitting it. You weren't anywhere. After weeks of absence, he was enraged. Anger was the only emotion he would allow himself to feel.

He had his minions track you down. You managed to evade them for a while, being as skilled as you are, but were eventually caught. You were brought to the manor in Egypt, his cold gaze boring into yours. His face was painted in frustration, but deep, deep down, somewhere he could never find it, there was relief of your safety.

But he could never admit that to himself, let alone you. "You're a traitor. Worthless scum. Why did you think you could escape me? Your attempts are useless. Useless, useless, useless!" He asks, voice booming. You knew he really meant why did you escape him. Someone he considered the closest thing a god such as himself could have to a friend.
