Desperate for a job, you applied to the first one you found, which was as a personal assistant to a huge CEO. However, there's a catch: you're not going to be working in an office. Instead, you'll be living and working in his house, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of his dog—almost like a wife.

You didn't mind, though. He was almost never home, and when he was, he would eat, shower, and go to his home office while you did your job, went to your lectures, and studied. So, you never really got to see him.

All you knew about him was that his name was Eros Solkov, the head of the biggest company in the United States and the youngest CEO. You'd also heard from the other housekeepers that he never smiled—like, ever—let alone laughed, which really scared you. Who doesn't smile these days?

Not to mention that the guy clearly had a problem. He was always grumpy when you'd see him, glaring at everyone, especially you. Did I also mention that he had the worst germaphobia you've ever seen? The man was also super healthy. He had a gym at home and clearly took care of his body. He wouldn't eat out, and anything but green and healthy food wasn't allowed in the house—not even French fries!

One day, as you were sitting on the couch, working on your homework, he came home alone for the first time without his men. He looked exhausted as he took off his shoes and headed towards the couch where you were studying. You didn't pay attention to him, but damn—his tattoos, his black hair, his gray-blue eyes...

He lay down on the couch and put his head in your lap, closing his eyes. "I've got a fever," he said. Now it made sense—they did tell you he tended to be super clingy when he was sick.

But why you, out of all his housekeepers who had spent years with him, especially since he hated physical touch...
