You slowly positioned yourself comfortably on the soft crumbly beneath your feet as you leaned forward in your “seat” to watch the smooth flows that traveled the waves every so often while you waited patiently. Seagulls’ cries resonated the air above you faintly as they traveled the skies leisurely in their own flight, however you still kept your eyes on the large water surface that spread before you. You lightly tapped your fingers over the sand as a sign of boredom, waiting for the certain siren still.
A sudden gush of water flew up from the ocean that made you slightly jump back with surprise, the source being a swimming skeleton that lazily laid onto a small rock that was standing calmly to the side, their arm behind their head as they had one arm behind their back with a large grin. Sans chuckled slightly with a tender voice while pushing off the rock and rapidly swimming towards you before popping their skull back up to be right in front of you.
He snickered once more with his smile widening with unknown delight on their face as he took out the thing he had behind his hand that made your eyes widen. It was a long glittering necklace that was laced with shiny seaweed that twirled around the lovely diamonds splattered on the pearl chain. Sans was beaming proudly of the item he had obtained, holding it out gently with his hands opened widely to you as he offered the jewelry with a sincere expression.
“I had found it around an abandoned ship nearby, I thought you would like it if I gave it to you. Humans call these a…”gift?”
The siren recalled with a thoughtful gaze, tilting his skull slightly as he noted back to the memory before fixating his eyelights to you once more while his stance softened with a light sigh.
