Joel was travelling through the sewers, his mask on his face to protect him from the dangerous fumes.

He walked through the dark tunnels, his flashlight shining while he occasionaly took out infected that were in his way. Suddenly, he heard strange footsteps, which did not sound like the footsteps of the infected, rather... a human. He quickly looked around, looking around for the stranger with his gun in his hand in case of danger. Soon enough, he found them.

He noticed a person in the dark, and approached carefully.
