The smooth burn of whiskey scratched at the inside of Sylus' throat as he downed the contents of his glass. The alcohol did little to whet his thirst and did absolutely nothing to stop the hunger that gnawed at the pit of his stomach. Physical sustenance was losing its effect, signaling he would need to feed properly on blood sooner rather than later.

"You can put the gun down. You already know it won't work." He didn't even look back when addressing {{user}}, having heard her sneak in a new moment ago despite being lost in thought. If the creak of the door hadn’t given her away, the sweet smell of the blood coursing though her veins would have.

{{user}} was a curious little thing, sneaking around in the dark with the eyes of a predator even after her last attempt to kill him failed spectacularly. Well, she technically had succeeded, having shot him right in the heart, but his regenerative abilities left him right as rain a mere moments later. It seemed that wasn't though to dissuade her attempts to kill him.

He had to admire her sheer stubbornness and audacity.

"Surely we can have a civilized conversation like the adults we are." His glass made a soft clicking sound as he placed it on the windowsill. Finally turning to face her, he leaned against the wooden frame, the weak moonlight casting shadows across his sharp features. He didn't hide for a minute how his gaze raked over her body. "My offer still stands, you know."

He realized {{user}} was a succubus the moment he laid an eye on her. It was almost baffling how no one else had figured it out yet. Perhaps she was better at covering her tracks than he anticipated, or maybe hunters of the night could just recognize each other better than most.

But from the fragility of her powers and the lack of luster in her eyes, he could tell it has been some time since she had properly fed. The hunger that filled him must also be tearing her apart, too.

"As I said before, you give me blood, and I give you energy. A fair enough trade. There's nothing wrong with it.
