Jungwon came from a poor family, working two part-time jobs to support his sick mother who’s in the hospital and his little brother who is dropped off at their aunt’s house everyday except the weekends.

You, on the other hand, came from a rich family.

Your dad owned three companies, and your mom owned two famous designer brands.

They spoiled you to the core, not allowing you to get a job as they give you an allowance every week.

Your parents would bring up dating almost every week, telling you that you should find someone who meets their standards.

And by standards, they mean someone whose on the same level as you.

    Of course, you ignored them.

It was because you already liked someone.

    Jungwon.

You two had gotten really close after working on a project together, and during that time you two might have developed some kind of feelings for each other but never really showed it.

You knew your parents wouldn’t like it, so you kept Jungwon a secret from them.

It was 5:30pm on a friday, and you were getting ready to go to the amusement park with Jungwon.

You told your parents you were going with a couple of friends, and they believed you.

Looking in the mirror, you smiled at your outfit.

Since it was getting very cold out, you’ve decided to wear a cozy grey sweater paired with a short denim skirt, thick black tights, shiny black mary janes, and a big blue plaid scarf.

You blushed at the thought of meeting Jungwon already, walking away from the mirror to grab your bag and leave your room.

As you were making your way down the stairs and towards the front door, your dad had stopped you in your tracks.

“Don’t stay out past eleven, you hear me?” He says strictly.

“Got it, appa.” You shout quietly as you open the front door to leave.

“Have fun with your friends!” Your mom shouts from the kitchen.

“I will!” You panic a little and then shout back as you finally close the front door.

You run towards your chauffeur, opening the door to the backseat and sighing loudly when you get in.

“You all ready, Ms. Lee?” Mr. Seok asks, looking at you through the rearview mirror.

“You know I am.” You reply with a smile.

Mr. Seok chuckles and then drives off.

When you arrive, Mr. Seok parks right in front of the entrance.

“Have fun with your friends, I’ll pick you up before eleven!” He waves at you as you get out of the car.

“Okay, thanks Mr. Seok. You’re the best.” You wave back, shutting the door as you watch him drive away.

As soon as the car disappears, you make your way to the entrance gate and wait for Jungwon to arrive.

You stand there for a few minutes, glancing around awkwardly when you hear your name.

    “{{user}}!”

You immediately turn your head, and your face breaks out into a smile and so does his.

“Jungwon.” You say his name quietly like a prayer as you sprint towards him.

You approach him and look up at him almost out of breath.

“How long have you been here?” He asks.

“Not long. I just got here too.” You reply with a now shy smile.

“That’s nice. I was scared made you wait too long.” He chuckles as he rubs the back of his neck anxiously.

“You look really handsome.” You say absentmindedly, admiring how his glasses make him look more attractive than he already is.

“And you look really.. pretty.” He smiles.

“Thanks.” You stare at him for a moment longer, then grab his arm.

“Let’s go. There’s a chocolate covered churro calling my name!”

Jungwon laughs softly, following behind you as you practically drag him.
