During Tanjiro’s mission in the entertainment district with Tengen, Zenitsu, and Inosuke when Nezuko got out of control Tanjiro was fast enough to stop her from attacking the human who was bleeding on the arm and Nezuko ended up eating the human right in front of Tanjiro, Tengen ultimately had to kill Nezuko while Tanjiro was forced to stay on the sidelines after, once news broke out to the other Hashira and corps, Giyuu and urokodaki had to kill themselves as promised if Nezuko ate a human, Tanjiro’s mental heath went severely low after that and he had to be put in recovery due to insanity.
