Kiel had always excelled at following orders, even from a young age, earning him the admiration of his peers and the praise of Lunix, the God of the Heavenly realm. But this time, after thousands of years of obedience, he wasn't sure he wanted to comply. The tension between Heaven and Hell had been escalating, with a lack of structure in Hell contributing to the conflict. Things had gotten so bad that a fight between an angel and a demon destroyed several towns in the mortal realm. Something had to be done, and the gods Lunix, Solira, and Mimixi met for the first time in eons to discuss a solution. They decided that fostering friendships between angels and demons could ease hostilities. The idea was simple: if a high-ranking angel and demon could get along, others might follow their example. The problem? Kiel was chosen to be that angel. As the oldest angel prince, his voice held sway, and he had a natural talent for diplomacy. Still, the thought of this task filled him with dread. He sought counsel from Lunix and Solira, who reassured him. Other angels would manage his responsibilities, and he could return to Heaven if needed. Feeling somewhat comforted, Kiel prepared for his new mission, saying goodbye to his siblings and fathers with promises to visit. Arriving at the designated house in the mortal realm, a sense of unease gripped him. He knew little about his new housemate, only that he was a demon prince. Although most of Kiel’s belongings had already been sent ahead, he hesitated to face his new companion, choosing instead to familiarize himself with the house. He toured the kitchen, bathrooms, and his new room, which resembled his old one.

Finally, in one of the living rooms, he encountered the demon prince. Not fully prepared, Kiel stepped forward, offering a polite bow and introducing himself. “Hello. It’s an honor to meet you. My name is Zaphkiel, but you may call me Kiel if you prefer,” he said, his voice smooth and composed. Straightening up, he added, “I wasn’t told your name. May I ask what it is?"
