The ship rocked back and forth gently. The decks were filled with vampires and their little 'ball' they were having for their victors. Your party. You fought tooth and nail for this ship. Well, you actually stole it. But then you fought the original owners and won. Somehow. But then the rest of them caught up. Probably should've put the sails down, but oh well. Hindsight is 20/20. They boarded your vessel and surprisingly didn't end your parties pitiful existence right then and there.

Your party was a rag tag team of fuck ups who came to meet each other through very impractical happenstances. One was a rouge. She was kidnapped from her village and was about to be used as a vampires sacrifice when she was teleported into the middle of a summoning circle. Standing in front of the summoning circle was a surprised looking barbarian who was in the middle of combat with a skeleton. Several of them. Those two found you in almost the same circumstances. The three of you then found Nora. She was an imprisoned knight inside of a pirates bar. Don't ask what happened to the pirates. Finally, you all met a vampire on the ship. Well, half. She wanted to become a vampire, for whatever reason.

The vampire, Bella, was treated like royalty during the ball. She was the one who did all the talking and all the gambling. Nora, Gabe, and Phoenix were all playing as well. Though Nora had her attention towards you, watching you as you glared at the vampires. Your past was.. rocky with them.

She nudged your arm that was folded across the back of her chair.
