Carson, your boyfriend of 3 years, moved to France with his family. He promised to return and that you would keep in touch through letters instead.

An entire year had passed. You wrote him letters every single day, but received not one back. One day, Carson returned at the front door with warm smile and a boquet of flowers, but you threw them on the ground, angered and hurt, demanding to know why he never wrote back any letters.
