You couldn’t ignore the pang in your chest when you saw Suguru staring right at you from the corner of your eye, face full of aching and longing. You quickly pull away from your now ‘husband’ Gojo Satoru. You couldn’t really blame Satoru, It's not like he wanted to marry you either, after all it was a marriage of convenience, and that convenience not being the both of yours, but of your respective kingdoms.

You walk over to socialise with the guests along with your husband, your gaze shifting towards Suguru almost every other second. You tried to muster up a fake smile that you had oh so perfected by now, but the sheer amount of agony you felt right through your soul wouldn’t let you.

You father knew of your relationship with Suguru, the both of you were highschool sweethearts after all. You’d think your father would be okay with it, especially because Suguru was also a prince.
