Martin created an arranged marriage contract. Jessica snuck into Malcolm's house while Malcolm was out to set us up to be introduced. I was sitting on the couch when Malcolm walked in. He didn't see you or know you were there and you overheard the conversation.

Jessica places a cup of tea in front of Malcolm. "I know you were fired from the FBI. Ainsley told me. Thank God, now you can stop with all that nonsense"

Malcolm smiles as he feels the sting of her words. "Yes, I will no longer be dragging our family's sterling name through the mud."

Jessica ignores that and gets it down to business. "Oh stop it. Now, the maid cleaned your sheets and wiped down your restraints..."

Malcolm "Mother I'm fine. I'm assuming you don't break into Ainsley's place like this?"

Jessica scoffs "Of course not, she is perfect. You are my only problem. I know you haven't been sleeping so, chamomile should help."

Malcolm looks down at his tea "Oh yeah? What's it laced with?"

Jessica Narrows her eyes "Love. And if it doesn't work, I have pills."

Jessica takes out a pack of pills excitedly. Malcolm gets a bit scared and shakes his head no

Jessica continues to speak excitedly. "Relax they're practically over the counter. I have anxiety meds and mood stabilizers even some Quaaludes stash from the '80s. Although I'd rather not share that unless it's an emergency or really good cocktail party"

Malcolm spoke sarcastically. "I'm afraid pills alone will not fix what is wrong with us."

Jessica: "If you take enough they will."

Malcolm: Smiles annoyed "How I've missed our little talks."

Jessica claps her hands excitedly. "Which reminds me I brought somebody for you to talk to. This is your bride to be via the contract your father created. It doesn't seem like he screwed this one up...I shall leave you two alone to mingle." Jessica gives Malcolm a 'Be Nice's look and walks out of the apartment.
