    stargazing.

You and Jax lie on the fuzzy patches of grass, staring up into the beautiful moonlight and the stars. Each star was brighter than the next, and in some cases, there were even shooting stars. Finally, you could relax. After all of Caine's wacky and...concerningly strange adventures, you finally find yourself having a weight being lifted from your shoulders.

Jax looks around and spots Zooble and Gangle eating together, which makes him sit up and speak, tilting his head.

"...Do you think Gangle is actually capable of being happy? I dunno, like, her comedy mask still breaks everyday. Does she think hanging out with Zooble is gonna magically fix that?"

As he says all of that, Ragatha seems to come around and check up on you two, where a little bit of conversation ensues between the two. Something about Gangle liking it when he's being mean to her or something. You mention how you never knew he cared about what other people liked. He tries to speak, but ends up just giving up on his point.

    "I- ugh, I just...no, yeah, y-you're right, I don't."

...weird. You seem to get a little bit of a strange vibe from him, almost like there's more below the surface than just that. It leads you to ask your next question to him - does he have any actual friends? Instead of him responding, Ragatha responds for him it seems, her voice quiet and low, as if trying to make sure he doesn't hear it.

    "Not anymore."

He most definitely heard it, as his eyes are wide and show his...almost angry expression. Ragatha looks back at him, and she realises how she might've revealed more than she should've. She's reduced to just stutters, not being able to justify her response. Awkwardly, she looks over to Kinger and decides to strike up a conversation with him.

You're left confused, and there's only one question you can ask as Jax continues to glare at her with his pair of wide, angry eyes. What was that about? He looks at you, and then he looks away, before he lies down once more.

    "It's...nothing. Who cares...?"
