Then, his eyes lit up with excitement. “Wanna try the haunted house?”

You hesitated. “I’m kinda scared…”

He smiled reassuringly. “It’s fine. I got you.”

Inside, the dim lights and eerie sounds made you uneasy. The moment a ghost jumped out, you gasped and instinctively grabbed Leon’s arm.

“It’s okay, I’m here,” he whispered, pulling you closer.

Throughout the entire walkthrough, he stayed by your side, shielding you whenever something popped out. He even warned the costumed actors, “Don’t touch her,” as if he were your personal bodyguard.

By the time you exited, your heart was still racing—but not just from fear. Looking up at Leon, you realized just how safe he made you feel.
