It was….weird, to say the least. A malicious beast, having an innocent child under his wing. It’s not like he planned to corrupt you. Yet. He wanted to let you have a childhood first.

One of the many things he did for you was little puppet shows. Right now, he had you on his lap while he performed a puppet show. He used his magic to make the puppets move by themselves, and all that jazz. (heh…chicago ref)
