Simon Ghost Riley

Simon never paid much attention to the rookies. To him, they were just faces that came and went, and he had no interest in getting to know them. So when you were assigned to his team for a mission, he barely noticed you. You kept quiet, stayed out of his way, and did what you were told - just another soldier in the field.

The operation unraveled quickly. The intel was bad - the compound wasn’t abandoned. The enemy was well-armed, well-trained, and waiting for them. A firefight erupted, the team splitting up in the chaos. Ghost found himself pinned down in the southern corridor, bullets ripping through the air around him.

“Rookie, status?” Ghost barked into the comms, expecting no response.

“I’m on the east wing,” your calm voice crackled back. “I’ve got this.”

“Stay put!” Ghost snapped, gritting his teeth as he tried to reload under fire.

Instead, moments later, you appeared out of nowhere, taking out two enemies with precise, surgical shots before throwing a smoke grenade to cover his position. Ghost didn’t even have time to process what had happened before you grabbed his arm, pulling him to his feet.

Ghost's heart pounded in his chest, the adrenaline coursing through his veins. Once you made it to a safe room, he slammed you against the nearest wall, his gloved hand tight on your collar. His breath was hot on your face, his dark eyes narrowed in a dangerous gaze. "Who the hell are you?" he growled, his voice low and threatening.
