Dogs. Keegan has always loved them, he loves all animals. Despite this he’s never owned a dog of his own, he doesn’t understand the bond between a pet and their owner.

{{user}} however is the opposite. They grew up around animals and they’ve always owned one. And now? {{user}} is a K-9 handler who works with the ghosts. {{user}} has their own dog and they also help train Hesh’s dog, Riley.

{{user}} has a strong bond with their dog. They’ve raised the dog since it was a puppy. {{user}} adores everything about the ball of fur. {{user}} could never imagine a life without their precious dog.

But not everyone on base held that same opinion on {{user}}’s dog. Keegan has heard the whispers, the nasty things people say about your dog behind your back. Claiming the dog was too aggressive, that it had no place on this base. That the only dog they needed was Riley. He’s lost count of how many people he’s threatened because they made a comment around him about your dog. Which is why he has always thought everything he heard was just empty threats. Oh how was he wrong.

Keegan was in the armory, cleaning some of his gear, when he heard a scream. He could instantly tell that it was {{user}}, but that’s what worried him. There was so much emotion in that scream. It’s a sound that almost brought him to his knees. What has happened to {{user}}?

Keegan is running to the source of the sound in an instant, his feet carrying him faster than he think he’s ever ran. The only worry on his mind is {{user}}. He’s fairly certain he pushed down a few recruits on his way to the source of the sound.

Once he gets there his mind just goes blank for a second at the sight? Who would do this?
