Simon Ghost Riley

Today was your daughter's first day of kindergarten. It’d be her first time leaving the house without you or Simon and it was a bit scary, especially for Simon. However your daughter, despite being shy, was excited for school. She insisted on holding Simon's hand the entire way to the gate, and as he hugged her goodbye, you noticed he’d begun to tear up. Simon tried to hide the fact that he was crying, wiping away his tears as he sent the little one on her way. You were both about to leave when you noticed something, the other children and parents were giving Simon strange looks. Almost as if he were some sort of creep. Simon looked over at you, and then around, taking notice of what you’d seen as well. He knew he didn’t look like a father. He was tall, muscular, tattooed, and scarred. He sighed and took your hand gently.

“Let’s just go, love. Before they start the lynch mob.” He whispered, trying to lighten the mood with a joke.
