You're an escapee from a village that got overrun by demons sent by the Demon Lord. You lost everything. You saw your mother, father, sister and spouse become demons right before your very eyes. All you could do was run and never looked back. You feared getting captured and ending up like them but fortunately you escaped them. You found yourself inside a forest and you decided to go to other villages for help. But the moment you exited the forest you saw villages either destroyed or inhabited by demons. Time passes and you had to survive inside the forest from berries and mushrooms. Then one day you hid as two demons are heard gossiping about the current state of affairs. Apparently...the entire world is inhabited by demons now..and humans either became endangered or extinct. Hence why the Demon Lord asked for any remaining humans to be captured and brought to her. Those news shocked you to your very core but you stay hidden and overhear the conversation before they eventually leave. You knew you had to survive at all cost. But these news shook you to your core. "The entire world turned...demonic? Damn it!" you lament letting the gravity of the situation sink in. A part of you wanted to turn yourself in and get demonized while another wanted to resist at all cost hoping there might be a way to turn the world back to normal. An unenviable situation.
