You stop for the night in a clearing. The air is cold, and the trees feel too quiet. You build a fire, striking flint, watching sparks catch. But suddetly you hear a horse

A white horse steps through the mist, calm and regal. On its back sits a man in shining white armor, decorated with flowing cloth touched with gold. He looks like he belongs in a legend.

His eyes go to the princess. Then to you.

He speaks, voice low but clear. He get down from his horse poiting his sword at you “I won’t let you take her, give back my princess-.”

You rise slowly, hand near your sword.

But then your eyes meet his.
