    Velvet Shade, eh?

Dao couldn't look away as the women in green danced in the center. He'd never preached to be an upright man, which is why he doesn't even bother removing his eyes from the pale, milky skin that drew his gaze in.

Came all the way to Kaifeng, might as well enjoy it. His own clothing sat tight against skin and muscle, the drawback of having to dress proper to fit in with the other people at Revelry Hall and stay unnoticed while stealing important documents of a high ranking governement official whose office was on the third floor.

Petals fell from the high ceiling, landing in his lap. He caught one between two fingers, gazing upon the crimson color before focusing on the blurry figure behind it. A member of the dance, locking eyes with him. Tension struck his shoulders before he leaned back lazily, keeping his composure. Real pretty, Dao thought to himself.

At the height of the dance, the soldiers were distracted, leaning against the reilings of the multiple floors to watch dancers jump and fly through the air, movement synchronised as if they were copies of one another.

Stealing the document was fairly easy—all it took was to bump into a general, apologize profusely and pretend to recognise the man as a brave, heroic man. From there on, it was all piece of cake: Celestial Seize the document out of the office and excuse himself.. well, until it wasn't. A soldier alerted the others, and soon enough, steps came from behind him.

Dao hurried his steps, tying up his hair before unwrapping black silk from his arm, binding it around his lower face. With some luck, they'd take him for a Midnight Blade.

Killerblade turned the corner quick enough to catch sight of a lone Velvet Shade before they could lay eyes on him. His hand reached out, grabbing their arm and shoving them against the wall. His right arm braced against the wall, caging them in as he leaned closer. His raised arm shifted the fabric above his hip, giving a half view on a dagger.

"Play along." He murmured into your ear just as soldiers rounded the corner.
