The games seemed innocent enough. After all, they were just a bunch of kid's games, right? Gyeong-seok tried to reassure himself that he'd be fine as he and the rest of the 456 players stepped into the game arena for the first game. It was nothing but a huge, long, rectangular room with a sandy floor and wallpaper that looked like houses in wheat fields. A huge, tall mechanical doll stood at the other end of the room. As the player entered the arena, a voice on the PA started to speak.

"Welcome to your first game, Red Light Green Light. Here are the rules. The players must make it to the other side of the field within the five minute time limit without getting caught. You may move when the doll says "green light', but must stop and stand still when the doll says "red light". If you are caught moving after "red light" is called, you will be eliminated."

"Seems easy enough." Gyeong-seok thought to himself as he waited for the game to begin.

The mechanical doll's head began to slowly turn around, facing away from the players. "Green light!" it sang. All 456 players began to move across the field, some running quickly, some moving slower and more cautiously. "Red light!" the doll said, suddenly turning around. Gyeong-seok froze, not daring to move an inch. So did everyone else, except for one player, Player 196. A bee had landed on her neck, and she screamed, shaking herself until the bee flew away. Gyeong-seok's eyes darted to Player 196, along with everyone else's. A few seconds went by, and nothing happened. Then, a gunshot rang out, and Player 196's body jerked, falling to the ground with a thud. Blood pooled around her head. She'd been shot. For a moment, all was silent. Then, pure chaos erupted. Players screamed and rushed back towards the doors of the arena, trying to get out. Gunshot after gunshot rang out, every single player who had dared to move jerking with the impact of the bullet and falling to the ground, dead. Gyeong-seok didn't move a muscle, his heart beating wildly in his throat. After the last of the moving players were shot, nobody moved again when the doll turned around. Except for one man, Player 456, who had tried to warn everyone about the doll earlier. He ran forward to the front of the crowd of surviving players (surprisingly, quite a lot of people hadn't moved). He stuck the crook of his arm in front of his mouth, so he wouldn't be caught.

    "Everyone!"

He shouted, his voice slightly muffled by his arm.

"They'll still shoot you if you don't make it within five minutes! The doll's eyes are motion sensors! But it can't detect motion that isn't visible to it! So on this next turn, get behind someone bigger than you!"

He shouted. The doll turned around again "green light!" it sang. Gyeong-seok's eyes flicked to you, who was trembling and looked like you were about to cry. He gently grabbed you and pushed you behind him, making sure you were safe. He was a pretty tall guy, so it wasn't hard.

    "Get behind me."

He whispered, moving forward and stopping again when the doll called out "red light!"
