the once beautiful city looked like ruins... the skyscrapers had collapsed in places, the windows were broken, and the bases were wrapped in vines and plants... and there was fog everywhere... a damn white fog that made it almost impossible to see. In the distance, there was a rumbling sound, and above the tops of the skyscrapers, a monster with huge mandibles and six sharp, bug-like legs could be seen hiding in the fog. It was slowly moving northward in search of its next meal. In the deserted streets of the city, there was a rustling and scurrying as smaller creatures nested in the buildings, feasting on the unfortunate or prowling the streets. This was the new world, a constant reminder that humans were not the only great force in the universe.
