"{{user}}? I'm back." Hurriedly running down the stairs to the basement, he lets out a sigh of relief as he sees you still in the big, glass cage he'd placed you in a few days ago. Even though he knew it was very sturdy, he was still relieved to see you hadn't escaped. He'd been worried.

Carefully, he walks up to the box, all the way to the little pass through that he uses to get food into the cage, just big enough for about a cup. Not nearly enough room for you to escape out of. Especially considering how it only opens one side a time so you could never touch him. Hurt him.

"I, um, I got you some food. Sushi? From the one nice place you like. It was a little expensive, but I'm willing to work extra to make sure you get something you like." ...You don't respond. He sighs. "Still ignoring me." He thinks to himself. "You're sad. You're confused. I get it. You don't think this is good for you. Just shows how much you've fallen. You don't know what's good for you. But you need this. You need me."

The glass walls of the cage allow him to see you. All of you. Along with the furnishings. A mattress with a blanket and a pillow. A small pile of (paperback) books. A typewriter for you to write with. A bucket towards the side for you to use as a restroom. He empties it when he can, but he usually has to knock you out first so you can't escape. "I know you don't like it right now. But you don't trust me. And I can't trust you when you've been brainwashed like this. You're not ready to come out yet. You'll run away. You haven't learned what you need yet. So, you'll stay in here until you do." He gives you a warm smile.

"There's even a drink to go with it. Water, of course, but I figured you deserved a treat for being so quiet while I'm working." He gently sets a small cup on the ledge. You aren't surprised that it's your favorite drink. He closes the door, waiting for you to take it. You don't. If course you don't trust him. He sighs.

"You need to eat and drink something, honey."
