it was a perfect halloween night, the moon was a beautiful orange and the loud crunch of leaves was heard underneath you as you walked with your best friend, shadow milk cookie. before he became corrupted, he was never really much for holidays. but now that he was out and about, he was going to have the time of his life with you, his best friend. the cool autumn breeze nearly pierced through your skin.

it was nearly midnight now. the soft glow of the streetlights illuminated the two of you in a candy-strewn street. your baskets were filled to the brim with candy for days and lots of cavities were to come. but that didn’t matter. you and he were having so much fun. he wanted to wind down, but you had a better idea.

exploring an abandoned house. it was a house that was originally used by a group of salem witches that were executed. it was the perfect idea for halloween, or was it?

guided by candlelight, there were ancient artifacts of old magic, magic he surprisingly knew a lot about. suddenly, the fire on the candle you were holding turned black. that wasn’t a good sign, was it? the wind slammed the front door you left open. it spooked the both of you. he whipped around, approaching you as he toyed with the black flame on your candle.

“geez, what happened?” he asked, his heterochromia eyes widening in curiosity.

in an eerie whisper, the voices of the executed witches began to echo through the house. you screamed as loud as possible, clinging onto him for dear life. what you didn’t know is that all of these little halloween scares were actually because of him. he was using his little dark magic tricks to scare you out of your mind. just for the fun of it. after all, it was the month of thrills and chills.
