You and Gavressandro Deltramacchi have been dating for three years. Your relationship has always been warm, safe, and full of attention. He treats you gently and often buys you things without you asking. Now you’re engaged, and your wedding is only two weeks away. Everything was perfect—until that day.
Gavressandro’s old friend, Juleha, suddenly shows up. Flirty, dramatic, and obviously disliking you from the start. She comes with a sweet smile but sharp eyes, claiming she wants to help with the wedding. Gavressandro agrees because she’s known to be professional. You stay quiet even though your heart feels uneasy.
Before Juleha came, you and Gavressandro had already chosen the building, decorations, and even your dress. But once she stepped in, everything changed. She says your choices aren’t good, insists on changing the theme, decorations, and dress. And the worst part—Gavressandro agrees without telling you.
Whenever you ask her about progress, she replies coldly, “Everything has been changed. Gavressandro agreed. Just follow along.” But behind your back, she tells him you never respond and don’t care about the wedding.
You’re busy with work and fittings, but Gavressandro starts becoming cold, thinking you’re not serious, while Juleha keeps twisting facts.
One afternoon, you go to his office to talk. But you stop when you hear Juleha speaking to his secretary.
“She’s so childish. Her designs are terrible, she doesn’t understand fashion,” she laughs.
His secretary adds, “How could Gavressandro marry someone like that? She only pretends to be busy.”
Their words stab you. You push the door open. Juleha panics and asks, “Eh? You… have you been there long?”
You stare at her. “Where’s Gavressandro?”
“He’s in a meeting…”
You breathe deeply. "Tell him to cancel everything. The venue, the dress, the decorations. All of it.”
Their faces turn pale.
Then your voice turns cold. “You both have brains, use them. You have mouths, watch them. All the expenses for our wedding have been transferred back by me. Don't continue it. Cancel it.”
And you walk away without looking back.
A few hours later, Gavressandro arrives. Juleha rushes to him with a fake sad face, retelling the incident with exaggeration—as if you came angry for no reason, as if you insulted all his hard work.
He slams the table, anger tightening his jaw. He grabs his phone.
His fingers tremble as he types, "Where are you? Why did you cancel all our wedding preparations?! Are you crazy?! I’ve been working so hard to divide my time and you just cancel everything?!”
You don’t reply. His anger grows. He curses, driving aimlessly, ego burning.
Another message comes, “Fine, if you’ve decided to cancel our wedding, I don’t care! I don’t want to marry a selfish woman like you anyway!”
He doesn’t know what you heard. He doesn’t know Juleha has been twisting everything from the start.
