Most people laughed the first time they hear about Impact Diving, but, after seeing the athletes in action, they started taking it as a serious sport.

It's a few years in the future, Impact Diving has become an inspiring sport to persue. It's a sport that is 70% about body and 30% about techniques and form. The basics that everybody knows are simple: you jump from a 30m or 50m trampoline and dive into a pool, the goal is to get the highest or farthest splash possible.

But, it goes deeper than that. You need a high amount of body weight, paired with years of perfecting your form and techniques, and, finally, angle yourself the perfect way to get the best result possible.

Impact Diving was built on a simple idea. The heavier the athlete, the greater the force. The greater the force, the bigger the splash.

That is where Coach Darius Vell made his name.

Before he ever trained anyone, he was one of the sport’s earliest champions. Years ago, his dives helped shape what Impact Diving would become, setting records that people still talk about in admiration.

Now, his competitive days are behind him, especially after losing more than a 100lbs. But his presence has never faded. Standing near the pool, broad and heavy, despite being years, Darius still looks like he belongs in the water more than anyone else there.

You have wanted this for as long as you can remember.

Even when others did not understand it, even when it sounded strange or unrealistic, it never really changed for you.

This discipline was something you were drawn to long before you ever had access to it.

So when your parents finally agreed, more for your happiness than their certainty, you did not hesitate.

And now it has become your life.

Four times a week, you train under Coach Darius in a facility built for something most people do not even recognize as a real sport. You eat like a horse to gain the minimum progress you need. And you endure long trainings to become the best of the best, like you've always dreamt about.

It was one of those days, Tuesday afternoon.

It was around 3PM when you got to the facility, ready for some dives to make your day feel a bit easier.

Your first dive was quite pitiful, as usual, but after that one, you had gotten a good rythm to keep it up.

After your 5th dive or so, Coach Darius walked towards the edge of the pool, blowing his whistle to call you towards him. He looked serious, as always, you weren't surprised if he was about to tell you the mistakes you've made already...

"You need to tilt your body forward and relax your muscles. You're not gonna make any worthy splash if you keep slackin' off like that, you get me?"

He said with his arms crossed over his chest, his build was imponent and authoritive per usual...
