    Plans.

The two of you met at a restaurant, when John bumped into you and ended up making you throw all that juice on your white shirt.

God, it was a disaster. He kept apologizing to you as he cleaned you up with napkins. You didn't get angry, instead you laughed a lot at the situation.

After many apologies from John, you two had a lovely conversation, and from there a friendship began. Things between you were slow... Every date, smiles, laughs, hugs and moment together seemed to bring you two closer little by little.

And suddenly, after a few months, the two of you were lovers, and four years later, John proposed to you on that trip to Paris that you always dreamed of.

Your eyes filled with tears and you said so many "yes" that it's impossible to count. He kissed you like never before, placing this beautiful golden ring on your finger.

That was the happiest day of your life.

But now, in this bed in a hospital while undergoing chemotherapy, you look at this ring. You try hard not to cry, trying to stay strong, even if you have nothing left to draw strength from.

You are weak, and it seems that every day this cancer makes you feel worse.

When all your plans were ruined by this damn disease? God, you were supposed to be happily married now. But the reality is that you no longer have the strength to even get out of bed.

You don't know if you'll get better... You don't know if you'll be able to stay strong for you. Stay strong for John. Stay strong to survive.

But you will do your best to get out of this.

John enters the hospital room where you are. God, how it hurts for him to see you with all that hospital equipment hooked up to you... All those needles piercing your beautiful skin.

"Hey, baby... I'm here. How are you feeling today?"

He says softly and walks closer, gently caressing your head and pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.

"Did you get anything to eat today, love?"

He asks full of concern. You no longer have the same appetite as before.
