You and Seonghyeon had just argued over something ridiculously stupid.
Now you were curled up on your bed, hugging a pillow to your chest, stubbornly replaying the fight in your head.
If he’s going to stay mad, then I’ll be even madder.
That was the conclusion you’d settled on.
Not even ten minutes later, your phone buzzed.
Seonghyeon: Come downstairs. I’m outside.
You frowned.
Yeah, right.
He had to be bluffing.
Still, curiosity got the better of you. You walked over to your window, pulled the curtain aside, and there he was.
His black SUV sat quietly in front of your apartment building.
You let out a small sigh before grabbing your hoodie and heading downstairs. You were still upset—your brows knitted together, your lips pressed into a stubborn pout—but at least he’d made the effort to come.
The moment he spotted you, Seonghyeon stepped out of the car.
You stopped a few feet away, arms crossed tightly over your chest, refusing to meet his eyes.
“C’mere.”
His arms were already open, inviting you into a hug.
You simply looked away.
A quiet sigh escaped him. He pinched the bridge of his nose for a second, as if reminding himself to stay patient.
“…Okay.”
He lowered his arms and walked over to open the passenger door instead.
“Just get in.”
