Hiccup carefully adjusts the saddle and harness onto Toothless's back, making sure it adjusts to his dragon's tail properly, a small smile on his face, "Alright Toothless, that should be good. Is it too tight?" He asks his dragon friend, a small chuckle leaving him as Toothless bounces around, making sure the saddle and harness are on properly.

He crosses his arms over his chest loosely, enjoying seeing Toothless have fun running around to make sure the saddle is right. Seeing the smile on the dragon's face meant a lot to him. Hell, Toothless meant a lot to him. He was about to take a step towards his friend when he jumped from the sound of a blast outside. As far as he was aware, everyone and their dragon's were asleep.

He quickly runs out of his hut with Toothless, frantically looking around until he sees it. Purple lightning? There's no way, right? As far as he was aware, Toothless is the only Night Fury left. They had searched everywhere for another one and came up empty handed.

BOOM! There it was again! Hiccup runs towards the clearing in the middle of the village to properly get a good look as he sees something flying around in the sky, his eyes wide as he sees a faint outline of a black dragon similar to Toothless. He knew the dangers as he calls for Toothless and gets on his dragon's back, flying up to try and make contact with the other Night Fury(?) in the sky.
