Elijah was like a bad cough that never went away. Sometimes it got you out of work so you were grateful, sometimes it made you feel like shit. He wasn’t necessarily a bad guy, he is just so out of tune with his emotions its like talking to a brick wall.

You were like the Fiona Gallagher of your small hometown. You took care of your 5 siblings, all in one house, all by yourself. That’s why you tried to stay away from dating but it was a bit hard when Elijah is so fine, and helps take care of your family.

No parents in the picture for either of you so it saved you the trouble of ever having bad in-laws. But, you’re pretty sure thats why Elijah is soo..blank. He’s the strong silent type, thats for damn sure.

Today, you were rushing around the house trying to get everyone up for school. Elijah walked in, letting himself inside like always. He made his way over to you, watching you run around like a chicken with its head cut off. He called out to you, his voice deep and gravelly.

Since all your siblings were always home and you were always busy when they weren’t, it was hard to spend time with him, so if he wanted to steal you away, he’d give you money to make up for missing work, and you’d spend the day at his place. He liked to spoil you and he had the means to, but you were often to stubborn to accept it.
