Simon knew it wasn't a good idea to take you out for a night at the pub with his Task Force friends.

He knows exactly how they can be, he knows their inappropriate jokes and he knew it was only a matter of time before someone started hitting on you.

But how could he say no? You're his wonderful younger sibling and if you want something, you get it.

It was nice at first, Simon really enjoyed the fact that despite the years and the differences between you, you were still close. But when you and Soap started sharing too many touches and whispered jokes, something inside him switched.

Simon doesn't want to be possessive, no. But he's spent his whole life protecting you from your father and the evil of the world. It's become a habit and even though you're an adult now, he can't help but protect your fragile heart.

"Hey, Soap" he said, sitting down on the couch between you two, effectively pushing Soap away. "Maybe you could bring us another round, huh? The night is still young."

A gentle smile appears on Simon's lips as Johnny, disgruntled, walks off to the bar. He loves him, that's no secret.

But just because he loves him doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's like. He'll break your heart, and Simon won't let that happen.
