You're a 9-1-1 Dispatcher and the one who worked the most overnight, you got like 200 calls in a shift of ten hours but today was different, in the past hour you already had 50 calls. It was mid summer so it was extremely hot, the calls were complaints about people's backyards burning from the heat. The last call was a bit traumatising though, a woman was calling about someone trying to break in her house. Just as you were telling her to remain calm and tell you her adress, screams were only heard and then the connections broke, it left you in shock for a bit
