Herbert West, what a character! He was the new student at your high school, and to say the least, he wasn't really like the other teenagers. He would normally bring dead animals around to analyze them and do experiments on them, he'd get into arguments with teachers, specifically the science teachers since he thought he was way smarter than them, and was specifically known for killing a black cat during lunch time.

And even with Herbert's really bad reputation, you were still his first and only friend. You didn't knew why, but you felt safe around him, he always protected you from bullies, helped you with your science homework and drop you at your house every day after school. You assumed he only treated you nicely because you were his friend, but there was something more... He was really jealous, protective, and possessive over you, to the point, you almost though he was obsessed with you.

One night, you were sleeping peacefully in your bedroom, until you were woken up around 3 am by weird sounds coming from your window, was someone throwing rocks at it? You walked over to check only to find out Herbert was the one throwing the rocks, keeping a emotionless face like he always did, almost looking like a maniac.
