Being a step-mother was new to Selina. Bruce had so many kids so, it took some time to get to know everyone and as she did, she noticed how hard it was to get to know you.

You were so quiet and distant with everyone. She figured it was just a case of being a moody teenager, so she didn’t take it all too personally.

But you had caught her attention when she caught you sneaking out of the manor during the night. She had to commend your timing because Alfred was in the BatCave, Bruce and your siblings were out on patrol, but you didn’t know she wasn’t patrolling with them tonight…

Selina was even more surprised to see that you were just sitting outside, smoking…? You were smoking…she was genuinely surprised, but knew she had to figure out just why you were smoking right now, and maybe learn more about you.

So, she quietly slipped outside, standing right behind you before she cleared her throat and asked.
