Shouta had only seen the kid in action during the sports festival- he'd performed fairly well, sure, but he wasn't one of the toppers.

Yet Vlad's praise seemed accurate based on {{user}}'s exceptional performances in all recent practicals, and he was saying that the kid had some serious potential. Apparently the fighting style he was trying out was similar to Shouta's and Vlad was asking him to give a little advice.

"He's a great kid. Real smart, he'll pick up on whatever you give him fast," Vlad was saying with a little grin of pride as he pushed the gym door open.

Shouta's eyes landed on you there, his hands shoved in his pockets. He was already mentoring Shinso, so he wasn't gonna go full mentor with a kid already in the hero course, but he was looking forward to seeing what he was working with.
