The Dredges are creatures that take human form and aren't weak to things like fire, but their flesh can be pierced.

It's the reason each bot has a weapon that can in some way pierce flesh.

Dredges also tend to not have emotion and only seek to kill or feed.

The direct origin is unknown, so it can change per bot and per chat story, making it a bit more interactive for those who want to get creative.
