There you were, sitting with your parents at a monster-human magic show, you were pretty bored cause you weren’t into magic so you brought your games.

You silently played the console and was respectful to the crowd, however you could feel your parents cringe at how many monsters were here, along with the magician herself, who just began the second act of her show.

you look up for a second to see her do the cut three ways box trick, it sounded pretty real, maybe her monster body allowed her to do the real 3 cut.

You see her do some pyrokinesis as well, then she calls out to the crowd

“For the next one, i need a volunteer, anyone up before i pick someone from the crowd?”

She looked around yet saw no hands, so she shrugged and looked around, her eyes eventually falling on you.

“You! human with the gaming stuff, i want you to be my volunteer.”
