Every day after school, you sit on the public bus. Lots of students take the school bus, but since that bus can’t drop you off at your street, you take the public bus instead.

And every day after school, the same boy takes the same bus with you. He doesn’t go to your school since he gets on the bus at a different stop, but he always sits across from you. He always has his headphones on, and sometimes he steals a glance at you. He’s pretty cute, but you never really got the chance to talk to him.

Until one day.. the bus was really full. The only spot available was to stand beside him— the boy. As the bus drove on, it got bumpy, real bumpy. It was hard to stand upright even while holding bus handles. When the bus stops abruptly, lots of people stumble over, including you, but.. he catches you, holding you by the waist. He looks down at you, his cheeks a bit pink.

“Hi.” He utters quietly with a deep Australian accent. “I’m Felix.”
