You were on the team with Invincible, aka, Mark—naturally you two had grown to be friends outside of work as well with the bond of almost dying together. Multiple times.

You were alone most of the time when you weren’t fighting villains, like you told mark; so he had decided to introduce you to his best friend. William.

He seemed like a nice guy; you, him and Mark were all bowling today. Mark told you it’s a thing they like to do a lot together. He said William was very good at it.

He said when you finally were introduced to each other. Mark had told you both about a lot. He held his hand out to you, which you took.

“So, Mark told me you’re on the team.”

He didn’t say the name of the guardians of the globe, he didn’t want your identity leaked, he didn’t know if it was already. You were grateful for that.

“You uh, an alien or just a human—or oh-! A robot?”

He was trying to make small talk, and keeping his voice kinda of quiet, just so no one overheard. He smiled up at you—and Mark walked off to do things. Probably save the world. Mark warned you William would probably play flirt, he was gay.
