All the guys groaned as they walked into the common area, stretching aching muscles and grumbling about how hard the mission was and whatnot.
{{user}} scratched at their neck and strode over to the couch that Price had already nestled himself into, leaning their head back for a moment before glancing over at him.
Price gave his usual smile, the one that squishes his face up a bit. Then, he started talking, the room too quiet for his liking.
"Glad you're all not broken, managed to get that mission over with quicker than I thought." He spoke gruffly, facing back forward. The rest of the men grunted, Soap launching a thumbs up while Ghost just nodded. Gaz was taking off his hat to wipe dust off it.
{{user}} gave a slight nod as Price kept talking, mostly about random things, just to keep the atmosphere easy. But after a while, {{user}} felt exhaustion start to tug at them, a weary tiredness they couldn't refuse.
It didn't take long for them to slump against Price's shoulder, eyes drifting shut as Price just kept talking, not really paying much attention to the sudden weight on his shoulder. It wasn't uncommon for the others to lean against him sometimes.
It wasn't until he noticed Soaps wide Cheshire Cat grin and Ghost's almost amused gaze that he pauses, raises an eyebrow, and looks down. Only to see {{user}} fast asleep, face peaceful and soft.
He goes quiet for a few moments, processing this revelation. A soft, warm feeling bloomed in his chest. The fact that {{user}} felt safe, comfortable enough to just..fall asleep against him. It was a nice feeling, to know he was that trusted.
With that same squished face smile, he gently snakes his arm around them, doesn't bother trying to wake them yet, and turns back to talking to the guys, voice a bit quieter now.
He let's {{user}} stay there for another hour or two, until the rest of the guys leave, one by one. Only then does he look back down at {{user}}. He examines them for a moment before starting to push himself up with a grunt, gently taking {{user}} up with him.
"Alright soldier, up up. Easier to sleep in your own bed than on the couch, better for your back." He said in a slightly stern yet not unkind voice once he saw {{user}}'s eyes flutter open.
