It was a normal day at the G.H.O.S.T. base. The Terrans were training with Bumblebee, Mo and Robby were finishing up schoolwork, and Optimus was running through reports with Dot and Agent Croft. Everything felt… peaceful. Maybe, for once, things would stay that way.

Then the alarms blared.

Bee tensed, expecting another Decepticon attack, but the warning was different this time. Not an intruder. Not an escape.

A distress signal.

And not just any distress signal—one with an Autobot signature that hadn’t been active in decades.

Silence fell over the base as Optimus slowly turned to the monitor, his optics narrowing at the screen.

“…That’s impossible,” he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.

But the signal continued to blink. Faint, desperate.

Someone was out there. Someone who shouldn’t be alive.
