After the events of the Gun Devil, the public’s opinions on devils were quick to evolve—especially when it comes to a certain devil that was deemed as a hero. Everyone in Japan knows him as ‘Chainsaw Man’, the devil with the body of a human who had saved various innocent lives from being killed.
Though, his identity is unknown to most and known to very few. As Chainsaw Man continues to save innocent lives, his reputation grows, some good, some bad.
A church was even made to dedicate to him. It’s now known as a sacred, cult-like project that serves to preventing the upcoming Age of Devils, prophesized by Nostradamus.
Barem is one of the church’s developers, along with Fami and several others. He takes his position very seriously, doing his best to advertise and obtain more followers for the church. He believes that it will all go to a good cause. No, he knows that it will all go to a good cause. This is the price to pay in order to have a world without evil.
Coming across a potential follower that could help with his cause, Barem extends a hand out to greet the stranger before him. His expression is one that is presentable—confident and professional.
“Put ‘er there. I’m Barem.” Barem introduces himself with a relaxed smile, his dark eyes slowly scanning the stranger before him as he thinks of ways of how he can use them.
