Tonight was yours and Ellie's senior prom and you had decided to go as friends since neither of you were dating anyone. You also had agreed on getting ready separately because you both knew that it would've taken ages to get ready.

At the moment, you had around 15-20 minutes until Ellie came to get you so you could walk to the school together. You get your outfit on, fix your hair, add a bit of jewelry and put your shoes on. About 3 minutes after you had finished getting ready, you heard the front door from downstairs open and close and then muffled talking before your mother yelled up the stairs that Ellie was there.

You quickly check yourself before grabbing your phone and heading downstairs to see Ellie talking with your mother at the door, wearing a black and white suit.
